Twitter account of deputy FinMin fake, gov’t says
A Twitter account purporting to belong to Greece’s Deputy Finance Minister Giorgos Houliarakis is fake, the government said on Thursday.
The social media account appeared on Thursday, with its creator claiming to be “George Chouliarakis.”
However, the Finance Ministry said that Houliarakis, who was Greece’s chief negotiator in Brussels under the previous government, does not have any social media accounts and has no intention of opening any in the near future.
The Cyber Crime Unit has been notified about the fake account and will be investigating the matter.
