Police cyber crime unit averts suicide
The Cyber Crimes Unit of the Greek police said over the weekend that officers had averted a possible suicide by tracing the whereabouts of a 27-year-old man who had claimed on social media he intended to take his own life.
According to the police, the 27-year-old was tracked down using the department’s Cyber Alert system in collaboration with the police precinct near the man’s home.
