Men attack guard at Patra hospital
Four men in the western port city of Patra have been accused of inflicting body harm after allegedly attacking a hospital security guard and breaking his leg.
According to local reports, the suspects – aged 19 to 28 – became enraged when the guard told them the hospital was not on emergency duty in the early hours of Monday morning, when they demanded to see a doctor because one of them had injured his hand.
The guard allegedly told them they could wait an hour for the emergency room to open or try another hospital that was on duty when they assaulted him.
