Off-duty policeman shot in central Athens
An off-duty policeman was shot in the leg in the central Athens neighorhood of Gazi.
The police special guard was wearing civilian clothes when an unidentified man approached him and opened fire at around 2 a.m. on Monday.
The policeman was taken to the Greek capital’s main army hospital, where he is being treated for his injury.
