Bus to serve the capital’s homeless people

A specially-modified bus aimed at catering to the needs of homeless people will hit the streets of the capital in the coming weeks, the Athens Urban Transport Organization (OASA) has said.

The bus, which will be converted and maintained by OSY, the company that manages Attica's buses and trolleys buses, will contain a shower, a toilet and a medical clinic, OASA said in a statement.

The endeavor, will is supported by tobacco firm Papastratos, will be staffed by staff of non-government organization Praxis, the statement said.
