Kafetzopoulos bows out of City of Athens role

Actor Antonis Kafetzopoulos, who served as deputy mayor for policing and traffic control at the City of Athens, announced on Thursday that he is stepping down.

Kafetzopoulos had been elected to the municipal council in 2014 on the same ticket as Mayor Giorgos Kaminis.

He is being replaced by councilor Lefteris Papagiannakis.
