Greek minister responds to frappe claims

Alternate Health Minister Pavlos Polakis hit back at claims by the centrist Potami party that he was drinking coffee in Parliament’s cafe on Thursday when he should have been answering questions from MPs.

Potami claimed that Polakis was spotted sipping a frappe coffee even though he had earlier claimed to be unable to appear in Parliament for a question and answer session on intensive care units because of a prior engagement.

Polakis issued a statement saying that he had informed MPs he would not be able to attend due to a protest at the Health Ministry.
