One teacher fired, one suspended over child abuse
Greek Education Minister Nikos Filis on Monday fired a teacher who was charged last week with sexually abusing students aged up to 14.
The minister also ordered that another public school teacher, who is accused of harassing a student on social media, be suspended from duty pending a hearing of the ministry’s disciplinary council.
