ADEDY calls 24-hour strike against pension reform

Greece’s public sector union ADEDY has called a 24-hour strike by all civil service workers for Thursday, April 7 to protest the government’s pension reform plans.

ADEDY has also organized a rally in downtown Athens at 11 a.m. against the measures.

Greece and its lenders are aiming to conclude their negotiations in time for the relevant measures to be passed before eurozone finance ministers meet on April 22.
