Athens airport authorities make heroin bust
A 30-year-old woman was arrested at Athens International Airport on Sunday for trying to smuggle 2.2 kilos of heroin into the country.
The suspect, who arrived from Johannesburg, had three packages of the drug hidden in the lining of her suitcase.
Police said she was part of a wider network of smugglers that import and distribute drugs from Africa to Western Europe, including Greece.
