A model presents a signature Sophia Kokosalaki outfit yesterday from her Fall/Winter 2004-2005 collection, marking the designer’s 11th catwalk presentation during London Fashion Week. Born in Athens in 1972, Kokosalaki presented her first collection in London in February 1999. Since then, the London-based designer has collaborated with leather giant Ruffo Research while establishing her own ready-to-wear Sophia Kokosalaki brand. In November 2002, Kokosalaki was appointed as the designer for the costumes of the opening and closing ceremonies of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.
