Police near Athens home of minister attacked

A group of between 10 and 15 unidentified assailants charged at police officers guarding the home of State Minister Alekos Flambouraris in Exarchia, downtown Athens, in the early hours of Monday morning.
The attack took place shortly before 2 a.m. and involved a group of assailants wielding firebombs, sticks and stones. Noone was injured in the attack which damaged a car parked nearby.
Flambouraris's home has come under attack another three times over the past year-and-a-half, usually by firebomb-wielding youths.
