Dafni rape suspect identified
Authorities have made public photos and the name of the 52-year-old man who faces charges of repeatedly raping and torturing a 20-year-old female student whom he held hostage in his basement apartment in Dafni, Athens last week.
A court Monday gave the man, identified as Panayiotis Kontzilelos, until Tuesday to prepare his defense. He was verbally abused by people as he arrived at a court hearing Monday.
