Thessaloniki bus drivers continue strike due to unpaid wages

Employees of the Thessaloniki Urban Transport Organization (OASTH) are to walk off the job for the ninth day in a row Tuesday, demanding the payment of months of outstanding wages, and leaving the northern port city without bus services.

Unionists representing the striking workers are to confer Tuesday to decide whether to continue with their action. According to sources, Transport Ministry officials have indicated that concessions might be possible.
