Elderly couple drowns on Crete
An elderly couple from Germany were found dead in the sea on a beach in the region of Stalida in Iraklio on Crete.
The pair, an 83-year-old man and 77-year-old woman, were found by passers-by floating in the water in front of the hotel they had been staying at.
According to local news site cretalive.gr, the sea was calm.
