Fugitive caught after 12 years on the run
Police on the Ionian island of Cephalonia Tuesday caught a 37-year-old fugitive who had been on the run since escaping from Malandrino Prison in central Greece in 2005.
The convict, an Albanian national, had been serving a prison sentence for multiple robberies until July 2005 when he was granted a furlough but violated the terms of his release.
