Tuesday Pensioners hold rallies in central Athens and Thessaloniki, in protest against poverty and high prices. In Athens they will gather at Klafthmonos Square at 10 a.m. Wednesday Parliament votes on 2005 state budget in midnight roll call vote. – European Commission to decide on measures regarding Greece’s excessive deficit. Friday Christmas Eve. Stores close at 6 p.m. Saturday Christmas Day.
