A 16-year-old youth believed to have traded in significant quantities of cannabis, cocaine and heroin using his scooter has been detained on drug dealing charges, police in western Attica said yesterday. The unnamed youth was arrested in the district of Aegaleo, western Athens, shortly after supplying a 29-year-old man with a gram of cocaine in exchange for 80 euros, police said. The 29-year-old man was also arrested. Police also tracked down the teenager’s father and charged him with failing to supervise a minor. Police sniffer dogs detected 480 grams of cannabis and 33 grams of cocaine in several plastic camera film containers hidden in the front panel of the youth’s scooter. Police also confiscated 200 euros and seven mobile telephones believed to have been used by the teen in his alleged dealings.
