Man dies after wife argument
Police said yesterday that they were looking to question the relatives of a 23-year-old woman whose estranged husband, 26, collapsed and died last week while waiting for her to undergo a CAT scan in the hospital. The woman was taken to the hospital after an argument with her husband last Wednesday, which culminated in him allegedly throwing her to the ground, causing her to hit her head. She was subsequently taken to a hospital for a brain scan. The 26-year-old followed to check that she was alright but collapsed and died on the hospital premises. Relatives of the 26-year-old, who died of a brain hemorrhage, have charged that his injuries were provoked by the woman’s relatives. They believe that he was attacked while on his way to the hospital by the relatives in revenge for allegedly beating the woman. Relatives and neighbors told police that the couple, who had been separated for more than a year, frequently argued when they met up.
