Bulgarian leader looks to common EU future

Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov inspects an honor guard upon his arrival in Athens yesterday on a two-day visit. Parvanov and his Greek counterpart Karolos Papoulias discussed bilateral ties and pledged to boost cooperation, particularly in the energy sector. Parvanov remarked that ties between Athens and Sofia were ‘better than ever.’
