Zero hour

The sizzling temperatures of 50 degrees Celsius in Canada and the number of flood victims in Germany show that climate change is not some vague future threat. 

The zero hour has already arrived.

Immediate and effective measures are therefore needed worldwide, but also actions by the state and its citizens, both for the protection of the environment and for an adequate response to the consequences of natural disasters that should undoubtedly be expected.
