Limits to consultations
Every intervention that has an impact on life in a city, even the biggest kind, needs to be discussed with the community before it goes ahead.
Such consultations, however, have a timeline and a date of expiration.
Major projects like the metro system, which are funded with national and European resources, cannot be discussed and amended forever. There is a time when the collective interest must be put above the concerns of a small minority.
