Tourism the right way
Recently released figures once again demonstrate – in a spectacular manner – that tourism is the country’s most important industry.
In the last few years, political upheaval in several countries in the broader region have resulted in the Greek tourism sector being presented with a major opportunity to grow and develop.
Efforts to take advantage of this opportunity must be consistent and unceasing.
It is crucial that everyone works very hard toward the continuous improvement of the country’s tourism infrastructure.
Ultimately, this is an industry which utilizes the gifts bestowed upon the country by nature and the invaluable heritage we have been left by our ancestors.
However, along with quality facilities for visitors to our country, Greece also needs to develop a distinct mentality that allows it to make best use of what it has to offer.
