GEORGAKOPOULOS GOVERNMENT: Caretaker Prime Minister Constantinos Georgakopoulos was sworn in yesterday morning in the presence of the outgoing Prime Minister Constantine Karamanlis. Immediately afterward, the new Cabinet was sworn in. They are Prime Minister and Interior Minister Constantinos Georgakopoulos, Coordination Minister Karolos Arliotis, Foreign Minister Michalis Pesmazoglou, Justice Minister C. Dimitrakakis, Education Minister Nikolaos Lianopoulos, Economy Minister T. Mertikopoulos, National Defense Minister Stergios Stergiopoulos, Trade and Industry Minister I. Paraskevopoulos, Transport and Public Works Minister Demosthenes Pippas, Agriculture Minister Haralambos Frangiskas, Merchant Marine Minister Admiral Dimitris Tsafos, Labor Minister Ioannis Kapodistrias, Welfare Minister S. Malaspinas, Northern Greece Minister P. Spiliotopoulos and Deputy Interior Minister (for Security) S. Manidakis. After the swearing-in ceremony, the Cabinet held its first meeting. As they entered the meeting, a contingent of the armed forces presented arms in the Parliament forecourt and the guards’ band played a march.
