Learning to teach foreign languages

An event aimed at helping and educating teachers of foreign languages in Greece, the 28th International Publishers Exhibition is scheduled to take place in Athens on Saturday and Sunday, April 2 and 3, at the Divani Caravel Hotel (2 Vas. Alexandrou, Ilisia).

Featuring exhibits by 35 leading publishing houses, both foreign and Greek, the event also includes 25 seminars, workshops and presentations by well-known authors and teacher trainers that are aimed at informing participants of new developments in foreign language teaching. Among the authors are Akis Davanellos, Virginia Evans, Costas Grivas, Sylvia Kar and Dimitris Siountris.

The exhibit will also feature the latest books and materials for teaching English, French, German, Italian and Spanish, while there will also be a special area dedicated to computer software used for teaching where representatives of the publishing companies will be at hand to talk visitors through the material.
