Despite most of the Reds suffering from food poisoning in the morning, they strolled to victory in the first set with a 25-17 score and took the second 25-23.
Iraklis offered a greater resistance in the third set, but Olympiakos was not to be denied and won it 35-33, led by man-of-the-match Dimitris Tzourits.
