Greece beats Georgia ahead of quarterfinal with France
Greece warmed up for its Eurobasket 2011 quarter-final against France with a convincing win over Georgia on Monday.
The national basketball team beat its opponent 73-60 in Lithuania.
Konstantinos Vasiliadis led the scoring for Greece with 15 points.
The result had no impact on Greece?s standing in the second round group table as third place had already been secured.
Greece will face France on Thursday in a knockout match for a place in the semis.
