AEK to visit PAOK in the Greek Cup

Holder AEK will have to defend its title at PAOK in the fifth round of the Greek Cup, according to the draw conducted on December 23.

AEK beat PAOK last season in the Cup?s two-leg semifinals to advance to the final where it beat Atromitos, but this time it will face PAOK in a one-off knockout game at Thessaloniki, provided that PAOK gets the ticket to this round from the abandoned game at Ethnikos Asteras.

Champion Olympiakos had the best possible draw as it will host one of the two remaining second-division sides, Thrasyvoulos Fylis.

The other second division side, Panserraikos will travel to Xanthi.

Panathinaikos will visit Panionios, while last year?s finalist Atromitos will host Aris.

The other ties in the round of 16 are Kerkyra vs Doxa Dramas, Panetolikos vs OFI Crete and PAS Giannina vs Asteras Tripolis.

Ties will be played on January 10-12.
