PAOK presented its new coach, Giorgos Donis, on Thursday, with the former Atromitos manager replacing departed Laszlo Boloni for the next couple of years.
Donis stated that this was an easy decision for him: «As of today I represent a very big club. What I want us to do is proceed step by step. A significant part is to set targets. We will have to stay on a high level and overcome the crisis.”
The former Blackburn Rovers player added he is looking forward to the preseason training and that he has identified the positions where PAOK needs to strengthen its roster.
His former Panathinaikos teammate Giorgos Georgiadis is the favorite to become PAOK?s new technical director. Club president Zisis Vryzas said that the new director will be appointed on Monday.
