Four-sided clash in Belgrade mars game

An ULEB Cup basketball game between host Red Star Belgrade and Greek team PAOK last night was delayed by crowd violence. Rival supporters tossed seats at each other and riot police used tear gas in response. Red Star fans teamed up with supporters of Greek team Olympiakos. The clubs are informally affiliated. At the other end, PAOK’s 50 or so traveling fans joined forces with fans of Partizan Belgrade, Red Star’s archrival.
