Club fails to reiterate protests of Reds coach
Olympiakos yesterday released no official statement condemning the refereeing in the basketball club’s 81-77 loss at archrival and defending champions Panathinaikos late on Sunday night. In the post-match news conference, the Piraeus basketball team’s coach Pini Gershon condemned several specific refereeing decisions which, he said, could have altered the tight encounter’s outcome. Panathinaikos is undefeated at the top of the A1 league.
