Ethnikos women sink NE Patron
Ethnikos’s Kelly Bisba (r) scored four goals past NE Patron goalkeeper Stavroula Papaioannou (l) in the LEN Trophy holders’ 9-6 away win on Saturday for the Greek women’s league in water polo. Ethnikos comes third on the table, three points behind European champion Vouliagmeni and Olympiakos. Vouliagmeni defeated Rethymno 15-3 as Olympiakos downed Iraklis 11-6, also on Saturday. In the men’s league, Panathinaikos won the Athens derby with Vouliagmeni 7-6 on Saturday, while champion Olympiakos had a hard time beating PAOK 9-8 at Thessaloniki.
