Zakynthos hotel worker dies after being pushed by tourist
A Greek hotel receptionist died late on Sunday after being severely injured in an altercation with a group of tourists in the resort of Laganas on Zakynthos.
According to police, the 51-year-old victim was attacked in the early hours of Saturday when he asked a group of Polish tourists staying at the hotel to make less noise.
One of the guests pushed the receptionist and he fell, suffering a serious head injury in the process.
The tourist who pushed the 51-year-old was arrested.
Authorities said the receptionist was from Zakynthos but did not name him.
