Earthquake rattles Karpenisi in central Greece

An earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale struck the area of Karpenisi, in central Greece, on Wednesday.

According to the Geodynamic Institute in Athens, the tremor’s epicenter was 3 kilometers southwest of the town of Karpenisi.

The quake struck at 11.40 a.m. and did not cause any injuries or damage.
