Greek fashion experts join forces for charity

Greek designers join their fashionable forces for charity with a broad group of prominent members of the Hellenic Fashion Designers Association (HFD) scheduled to sell a selection of garments, accessories and other items on Saturday, July 1. Dubbed the 1st Athens Collections Bazaar, the event will take place at the downtown Bacaro complex from noon to 8 p.m. Organized by HFD under the auspices of the City of Athens and the alternative newsweekly Athens Voice acting as communication sponsor, the fashion sale will raise funds in aid of the municipality’s homeless shelter. Many established and up-and-coming designers and fashion houses will participate in the event. The participants include Yorgos Eleftheriades, Christoforos Kotentos, Chara Lebessi, Daphne Valente, Loukia, Christos Mailis, Maria Mastori, Mi-Ro, Erifilli Couture, Dimitris Dassios, Kathy Heyndels, Celia D, Christos Costarellos, Pavlos Kyriakides, Aslanis, Smaragdi, Parthenis and Katerinalexandraki. Discounts will go as far as 50 percent off the original prices. Drinks and music will be provided. Bacaro, 1 Sophocleous, opposite the Athens Stock Exchange.
