Toniko Melo’s ‘VIPs’ | Athens | April 3
The Embassy of Brazil and the Council of Brazilian Citizens in Greece are organizing a screening of Toniko Melo’s 2010 drama “VIPs” at the Danaos Cinema in Athens on Sunday, April 3. The film tells the story of Marcelo Nascimento Rocha, a Brazilian con man who assumes the identities of others but finds he may have bitten off more than he can chew when he poses as the brother of the owner of a big airline company. The cast is led by Wagner Moura, a Brazilian actor also known for his role as Pablo Escobar in TV series “Narcos.” The screening starts at noon and admission is free of charge.
