Great momentum seen in Greece-UAE relations

The United Arab Emirates Ambassador Sulaiman Al Mazroul spoke of an “excellent momentum of the strategic relations between the UAE and Greece” and that this strategic cooperation is expected to be further strengthened, in an interview with the Athens-Macedonian News Agency on the occasion of the UAE-Greece Business Forum, taking place on Wednesday and Thursday in Athens.

“We are currently experiencing an exceptional dynamic of strategic relations between the UAE and Greece. The frequency of visits exchanged between officials of the two countries over the past year-and-a-half demonstrates, among other things, the common understanding we share on a wide range of issues, hoping that our strategic cooperation will be further strengthened,” Al Mazroul said.

A typical example of “warm and strong bilateral relations” is the recent visit of the Greek prime minister to Abu Dhabi, during which 12 memorandums of understanding and agreements were signed.

It is noted that the United Arab Emirates will be the honored country at this year’s 86th Thessaloniki International Fair: “This participation will offer a great opportunity for businessmen from both sides to network and work together to strengthen bilateral economic relations,” the Emirati ambassador said.
