Greece’s disabled to protest energy costs

Greece’s National Confederation of Disabled Persons plans a September 15 protest rally outside the Ministry of Environment and Energy, claiming that their needs have been neglected when designing policies to curb energy costs.

In a letter to Minister Kostas Skrekas, they say that many disabled people have special energy needs because they suffer from debilitating and chronic conditions that require home treatment.
