HBA announces loan repayment freeze for those affected by floods

Loan repayments to freeze for those affected by floods in central Greece announced the president of the Hellenic Banks Association (HBA) Vassilis Rapanos on Wednesday, after a meeting with Finance Minister Kostis Hatzidakis.

The HBA specified that repayments of performing loans of households, businesses, and auction sales will freeze for those affected by the recent floods until December 31.

Additionally, a 50 million euro deposit will be devoted to natural disaster reparations in Thessaly, central Greece.
