Former president Sartzetakis hospitalized in ICU with pneumonia

Former president Christos Sartzetakis is being treated for pneumonia in the intensive care unit of Laiko General Hospital in Athens, the hospital announced in a press release Saturday.
Sartzetakis was initially admitted to the hospital last Wednesday (Dec. 1) but had to be transferred to the ICU on Friday after he developed acute respiratory failure, Laiko said, adding that his condition is “stable.”
