Man arrested in central Athens after shooting gun in the air

Police officers arrested a 30-year-old man in central Athens on Sunday morning after he shot a gun into the air. The man proceeded to barricade himself in his apartment but after a rapid police operation the standoff was resolved.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the motive behind the man’s actions.
