New Covid-19 infections, deaths ease

The number of new Covid-19 infections eased to 15,823 for the 24-hour period ending 3 p.m. Saturday, down from 21,102 the day before.

Data from the National Organization for Public Health (EODY) showed 52 deaths, compared with 60 on the previous day.

There were also 357 patients on ventilators, five more than friday.
