Migrant dies in traffic crash near Alexandroupoli

A man died when the car he was travelling in veered off the road and plunged into a stream near Alexandroupoli, northeastern Greece, on Thursday.

The dead man and the other three passengers were migrants.

Police arrested the driver on suspicion of human trafficking and for not having a driving licence.

The other men were taken to Alexandroupoli General Hospital. [AMNA]
