Torch Relay to close streets in Athens on Sunday
Traffic regulations will be in force on Sunday in Athens due to the 2nd Marathon Torch Relay promoting organ donation and transplants.
Between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., there will be a gradual, partial and temporary suspension of traffic on the right lane of roads in the direction of Marathonas.
This will affect Vasileos Konstantinou, Vasilissis Sofias, Feidippidou, Michalakopoulou, Mesogeion and Marathonos avenues from the Panathenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro) to Marathonas (Marathon Municipal Stadium).
