Greece imposes asset freeze on Kaili
The head of Greece’s Anti-Money Laundering Authority Charalambos Vourliotis has ordered a freeze on the property and financial assets in Greece of European Parliament Vice-President Eva Kaili and those associated with her.
The assets freezing measures must be implemented by financial institutions and relevant state agencies.
Kaili and three others have been charged and imprisoned in Belgium, amid a police probe into alleged corruption linked with Qatar.
