Bomber lawyer takes over as Kaili’s defense

The former lawyer for Salah Abdeslam, who had a major role in the 2015 Paris terrorist attacks, has taken over the defense of Greek MEP Eva Kaili in the European Parliament corruption investigation, according to Politico.
It said that Sven Mary, a well-known criminal defense lawyer in Belgium, said in a text on Monday that he would be taking over from Andre Risopoulos, who has been representing Kaili up to this point.
“I’m taking over the torch,” Mary said in the text.
