Farmers block Athens-Lamia highway

Farmers in Fthiotida, central Greece, have rolled out their tractors at the Atalanti junction of the Athens-Lamia highway in support of colleagues who are meeting with government officials at the prime minister’s office in Athens.
Farmers had gathered at the point from early morning and blocked the road on both sides with their machinery at around 2 p.m., forcing traffic to take detours between the 137th and 150th kilometer of the highway.
