Metro service interrupted at Alimos after man falls on tracks
Line 2 of the Athens metro was experiencing delays on Thursday after a man fell onto the tracks near the Alimos station on the capital’s southern coast.
The man was reportedly unresponsive as paramedics rushed him to hospital.
It was not clear whether the fall was accidental or intentional.
The incident prompted the closure of the Alimos and Ilioupoli stations, while an investigation is being conducted.
