Fire breaks out in abandoned Thessaloniki factory

A fire has broken out in an abandoned Thessaloniki factory on Monday afternoon, outside the area of Sindos.
According to a Hellenic Fire Service official, the fire started from a rubbish dump and the service was informed at 5 p.m. There are currently 13 firefighters and five vehicles operating on scene.
The smoke plume is visible across a wide area.
