Mild tremor strikes off Zakynthos Island

A moderate tremor measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale struck 78 kilometers west-southwest of Zakynthos island in the Ionian Sea shortly before 8 a.m. on Monday. The depth of the tremor was recorded at 8.5 kilometers.
No injuries or damages have been reported.
